Today the ladies had their end of year Christmas Party.

The ladies recently gathered for their end of year Christmas Party which was filled with festive cheer. Santa himself made an appearance, gifting all the ladies bags of lollies to start the celebration. Following a friendly game of bowls, everyone gathered for a delicious lunch. The special guest of the day was Allen Hilton from Angel Flight, the chosen Charity for the year.

During lunch, Allen shared insights about Angel Flight, emphasizing that the organization operates solely on donations and is not government-funded. The ladies were fascinated to learn about the meaningful work they do in helping those in need. Lyn Allport and Yvon Buxton proudly presented a donation cheque to Allen Hilton, who expressed deep gratitude on behalf of Angel Flight.

To wrap up the day on a high note, Joy Allen, Irene Page, and other talented ladies from the bowls group put on a delightful concert for everyone’s enjoyment. The day was a perfect blend of generosity, camaraderie, and entertainment, leaving everyone with cherished memories. It was indeed a great day of celebration and giving back.
