The Final of the Open Major/Minor Pairs Competition was played today. Excellent bowls were played and Sharyn Samels and Kevin Wilkinson were the winners and Glen Dickson and Tim Harris were runners up. Score was 19/18, a very close game. Congratulations to all four players and a special mention to Tim (our boss) as it was only the second game he had played. The weather was cold and windy but all bowlers did very well. It was a closely contested game with a final score of 19/18. Congratulations to all four players, especially Tim, who, despite being relatively new to the game, put on an impressive performance. The weather conditions were challenging with the cold and wind, but all bowlers displayed great skill and determination. Well done to everyone involved in the competition.
