May Quarterly Pairs Champions Crowned

Congratulations to Peter Macdonald and Steve Matheson, our May Quarterly Pairs Champions! The duo claimed the top prize of $1200 after an exciting day of competition at Club North Haven, finishing with 3 wins and an impressive 30 margin.

The sun finally broke through to get our $3000 May Pairs Tournament completed, and not even a late thunderstorm could dampen the spirits of our competitors. Twenty-eight teams took to the greens, making it a wonderful day of bowls filled with competitive spirit and great sportsmanship.

Tournament Results

Graham Conen and Eric Glasson secured Runners Up with $800, finishing on 3 wins and 19 margin on countback. Third place and $400 went to Norm Hayes and Steve Root with 3 wins and 19 margin, while Shane Harper and Matt Hyde claimed fourth place and $200 with 3 wins and 13 margin.

Best Card prizes of $120 each went to Phil Baker and Michael Taylor (G1 with 14), Greg Brimms and Rocky Stone (G2 with 30), and Richard Trow and Michael Howard (G3 with 16). Our Lucky Losers were Todd Watling and Jimmy Yoo.
