Club North Haven Board of Director Nominations: Deputy Chairman & Two Director Positions Available

If you are passionate about contributing to the Club North Haven community and shaping its future, now is your chance to step up by nominating yourself or someone you believe in for the upcoming Board of Director positions.

Open Positions:

The Club will have vacancies for the positions of Deputy Chairman and Two Directors at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for Sunday, 24th August 2025. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to serve a three-year term, making significant decisions and guiding the club towards success.

Eligibility Criteria:

For the role of Deputy Chairman, nominees must be Life Members or Financial Bowling Members with a continuous Bowling Membership of at least three years. As for the Two Director positions, eligible candidates include Life Members, Financial Bowling Members, Financial Non-Bowling Members, or Financial Sports Members with a continuous membership of three years.

Nomination Process:

To nominate for any of the positions, interested individuals must fill out the nomination form available at the Club Office. The form needs to be signed by two Financial Members eligible to vote, along with the nominee’s signature signifying their consent to the nomination. Completed forms should be returned to the Club General Manager, Tim Harris, before the closing date.

Important Dates:

Nominations must be submitted by 6:00 PM on Sunday, 27th July 2025. After nominations close, the Club will proceed with the selection process to appoint the new Deputy Chairman and Two Directors who will play vital roles in the club’s governance.

Training Requirement:

It is essential to note that newly appointed Club Directors will need to undergo training prescribed by The Office of Liquor, Gaming, and Racing within twelve months of their appointment. This training ensures that all Directors are well-equipped to fulfil their responsibilities and comply with regulatory standards.
