Board of Director Nominations Open at Club North Haven: Deputy Chairman & Directors Positions Available

Are you passionate about contributing to the growth and success of Club North Haven? Here’s your chance to make a difference by nominating yourself or someone you believe in for the upcoming Board of Director positions. Nominations are now open for the Deputy Chairman and Two (2) Director positions that will be vacant at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday 24th August 2025.

Position Details

The successful candidates for the Deputy Chairman and Director roles will have the opportunity to serve on the Club Board for a term of three (3) years, playing a vital role in shaping the future of our club. If you are considering nominating for the position of Deputy Chairman, please note that nominees must be Life Members or Financial Bowling Members with a continuous Bowling Membership of at least 3 years.

For the Two (2) Director positions, nominees must meet the criteria of being Life Members, Financial Bowling Members, Financial Non-Bowling Members, or Financial Sports Members with a continuous membership of 3 years. Nominations must be made in writing on the provided form available from the Club Office. The form should be signed by two Financial Members eligible to vote and by the Nominee, who must also provide their consent to the nomination.

Nomination Process

Once the Nomination and Statutory Declaration forms are completed, they should be returned to the Club General Manager, Tim Harris, to be considered for the positions. Please note that all nominations must be submitted before the deadline: 6.00 PM on Sunday 27th July 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Training Requirement

It’s important to highlight that any newly appointed Club Director will need to undertake training prescribed by The Office of Liquor, Gaming, and Racing within twelve months of their appointment. This training ensures that all Directors are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfil their roles effectively.
